Scarifying
Scarifying is a process perhaps best described as a mechanical raking of the lawn; its primary purpose is to remove thatch and moss from the lawn, although it has associated benefits as well. The machine used by us has a series of sharp blades that rotate at high speed and cut into the turf in a vertical manor. The depth can be adjusted to remove as much or as little thatch as required. Our scarification process will thin out and remove the excess thatch and moss invasion that has built up within a lawn, allowing the grass cover to thicken, and the root system to penetrate further through the soil, ensuring a stronger, healthier lawn.
Our tractor hauled scarifier is ideal for those big jobs other machines struggle to cope with.
